Trying to make pretty pictures and art is a fun challenge but sometimes can lack emotional value. Snapshots of those I meet and know end up being some of my favorite moments. Color, focus, composition all go out the window. Snapshots are more about creating personal memories for me and tend to be of reoccurring subjects . You wont find any of these images in a gallery or hanging on a wall. They are photos of everyday people sharing a light moment and getting their kicks.
My preference of cameras are old disposable, point and shoot, or film SLR cameras with the occasional instant film (Polaroid) type, to achieve personal photos.
